Cost Conscious Graphical Measurement

As of November 2004, Axel Lite CMM software has had the Graphical Measure Window (single view) available. Axel Lite CMM software has been developed with the specific purpose for use in applications where cost is critical or where only a few features or types of measurements are needed.

Axel Lite CMM software is in essence a scaled down version of the Axel Foundation program, and therefore benefits from the uniform user interface used for all Axel CMM Software applications. All of the Part Files created under the Axel Lite program are fully compatible with the Axel Foundation program when upgraded.

Axel Lite CMM Software Features:

• Geometrical measurement
• Feature storage with measured features shown in the graphical display
• Full dimensional tolerancing
• CAD-like feature constructions, eg. distance, intersection, translation, rotation & projection
• Multiple Coordinate Systems and extensive alignment options with graphical representation in the Measure Window
• Graphical zoom & rotate to XY / YZ / ZX views
• Alter name of stored features to match drawing / client name
