ITP Group believes that the 7.3m high coordinate measuring machine it has built for Beijing Space Authority to measure satellites may be the tallest CMM in the world. ITP were approached by the space group to build a single CMM to measure small commercial satellites, and having delivered one machine in 2003, it was contracted last year to produce a larger one, with the possibility of two more being ordered later in 2006. |

Styling Models Produced 60% Quicker At Bentley Motors - Read Full Story
ITP Group have just completed a successful installation at luxury car manufacturer Bentley Motors. The scope of work was to upgrade an existing 26 metre, four mast, Horizontal Arm CMM System to CNC control, to have the capability of measurement and milling to CAD data. ITP took full control of the project, including installation of a new control and magnetic scaling system that replaced the existing optical device to ensure successful operation in a clay-contaminated environment. |
