ITP Group Expand To New Premises

ITP Group is celebrating its 30th year in business with a relocation to new premises - the result of year-on-year sales growth in both the domestic market and abroad. ITP Group have moved from Butlers Leap to a new 4500 square metre site comprising office space and manufacturing facilities at Clifton Road, Rugby.
The move follows a flurry of orders in 2007, including over £1.5 million from the British automotive sector alone.
ITP Group specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke inspection and styling machinery for anything from car design to aerospace applications. The new site is a dedicated facility for engineering, and strengthens the worldwide reputation that ITP Group has built up over their 30 year history.
Dick Turpin, Managing Director said “We’re incredibly pleased with the level of orders, it has given us the confidence to expand and we intend to increase our capacity further over the next 12 months”.
He continued, “The Midlands is the perfect base for us we have everything we need here – skills, suppliers, designers. Our customers are from all over the world but the proximity of local airports and motorway links make it pretty easy for them to visit us to see how their projects are progressing”.
Marketing Manager Barry Clough added, “The past 3 years have been incredibly difficult for manufacturing in the Midlands – in particular the recent high profile losses of MG Rover in Longbridge and Peugeot’s Ryton plant. We’ve had to diversify from our traditional line of business and are now being recognised as Europe’s leading supplier of automotive styling systems – with enquiries from further a field”.
